Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how iTech4Web LLC ("iTech4Web", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with our website at https://itech4web.com, our web development and software services, and any applications or integrations we operate, including our integration with QuickBooks® Online (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who we are
iTech4Web is a web development agency. For any privacy questions or requests, contact us at hello@itech4web.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide. Name, email address, phone number, company name, project details, and any other information you submit through our contact forms, proposals, or while engaging our services.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we may collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and similar usage data through cookies and comparable technologies.
Information from connected third-party services. When you authorize us to connect to a third-party service on your behalf — most notably QuickBooks Online (Intuit) — we receive data from that service through its official API, as described in Section 4.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, and improve our Services;
- communicate with you, respond to inquiries, and deliver project and account updates;
- prepare proposals, statements of work, and invoices;
- display financial and customer metrics to authorized users within our CRM (for example, customer lifetime value and outstanding balances);
- maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. QuickBooks Online (Intuit) data
With your explicit authorization via Intuit's OAuth 2.0 consent flow, our integration accesses data from your QuickBooks Online company through Intuit's official API. This may include company information, customers, invoices, estimates, and payments.
- Purpose. We use this data solely to surface financial information (such as invoices, balances, and customer spend/lifetime value) inside our CRM for authorized internal users, and to keep that information current.
- Storage. Data retrieved from QuickBooks Online is stored on infrastructure we control and is protected as described in Section 6.
- No sale or unauthorized sharing. We do not sell QuickBooks data and do not share it with third parties except as described in Section 5.
- Disconnection. You may revoke our access at any time from within QuickBooks Online (Settings → Apps) or by contacting us. After disconnection we stop retrieving new data and will delete or anonymize stored QuickBooks data on request, except where retention is required by law.
- Compliance. Our handling of Intuit data complies with the Intuit Developer terms and applicable API policies.
5. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf (for example, hosting, infrastructure, and analytics providers) under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where necessary;
- Authorities, when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
6. Data storage and security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and restricted access to credentials and tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing or request data portability (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA). To exercise these rights, contact us at dima@itech4web.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
9. International data transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
11. Third-party links
Our website and Services may link to third-party sites or services that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their practices.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
